Another buzz

A Year in the Life of Fall Out Boy - December 28th

Fall Out Boy is teaming up with legendary rock documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles, best known for his work with the Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter tour documentary. Maysles plans to document the upcoming year of Fall Out Boy' life, which promises to be nothing short of stimulating, including the writing and recording of a new album, hopefully. Pete Wentz explains his enthusiasm:

"Albert came along and was like, 'I'm really interested in doing something with your band,' and we did the thing like when you're in high school and the hot girl talks to you, and you sort of look behind you and go, 'Who, us?' I mean, he did Gimme Shelter, and it's amazing, and seriously, this guy could document pretty much anything, and he wanted to do something with us. That's what blew our minds more than anything."A little star struck, perhaps?

The documentary will be released as a separate DVD, rather than as a bonus disc within the upcoming album's package. Hmmm…maybe Fame <> would be a good working title.
